Are you optimistic about the prospects of business and economic growth this 2012? Why / why not?

Yes, I am optimistic about 2012. While the business sector as a whole might have a difficult time getting out of the muck it's in, let us remember 2 things: 1) the financial world is not limited to the business environment that we are familiar with; hence it will become ever more important to be creative and to take a more collaborative approach in tackling this global (read: cyber) economy; and 2) with every obstacle comes new opportunities; all we need is to put on our 3D glasses and see the world in a whole new light. Also, I believe LinkedIn and Yunnoh will play a big role in making the Philippines a major player in various industries :) More power to us!
